Jackson Allen
Chorus

Tenor Jackson Allen grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada, where childhood piano lessons kindled his passion for music, eventually leading him to an obsession with opera and classical singing. He graduated in 2021 from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with a Bachelor of Music in opera performance, singing various roles in operas such as Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Dove’s Mansfield Park, Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims, Offenbach’s Les contes d’Hoffmann, and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Il tabarro. He is now about to enter the second year of his graduate studies with Rhoslyn Jones at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Recent performances at SFCM included the roles of Tito in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito, Sun in Dove’s The Enchanted Pig; Schumann’s song cycle Dichterliebe; and masterclasses with Michael Fabiano, Richard Cox, and Martin Katz.
