Soprano Katie Malone is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree in Classical Voice at Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Marlena Malas. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from The Catholic University of America, where she sang the roles of Laurie Moss (The Tender Land), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), and Miss Pinkerton (The Old Maid and the Thief). A lifelong Chautauquan herself, Katie has dreamt of singing here since she saw her first Chautauqua Opera Company production at eight years old. She is absolutely thrilled to be a member of the Opera Conservatory this summer.
