Alexandria Ott
Violin

Alexandria Ott, violin, is currently a graduate student at the University of Michigan where she studies with Aaron Berofsky.  A passionate ensemble musician, she is pursuing a double degree in chamber music as well as solo performance while playing substitute with the Ann Arbor, Flint, and Lansing Symphonies.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the Eastman School of Music where she was concertmaster of the Eastman Philharmonia and School Symphony Orchestra.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude and with a performer's certificate in Historical Performance Practice.  Past summer festivals have included the National Orchestral Institute, where she was awarded the string leadership scholarship and served as concertmaster, and Music Academy of the West, where she took part in the selective String Quartet Seminar mentored by the Takacs Quartet and played alongside the London Symphony.  This will be her third summer as a member of the Chautauqua MSFO.
