Emilie Tupper
Violin

Emilie Tupper is a 21-year-old violinist from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She is currently a senior violin performance major at the Eastman School of Music, studying with Mikhal Kopelman. At Eastman, she served on principal rotation of the Eastman Philharmonia from fall 2021 to spring 2022 and served as concertmaster of the Eastman Opera Orchestra in spring 2022. She is an avid chamber musician and has been a member of the Phantasia String Quartet at Eastman since 2020. In 2021, they were the only group selected as candidates for the Certificate in Chamber Music Achievement, which they will receive upon graduating, and since then they have performed in masterclasses held by the Aizuri String Quartet and Peter Salaff. In addition to music, Emilie is pursuing a minor in political science at the University of Rochester.
