Georgiana Adams is an American Soprano excited to take the stage! This summer, Adams is excited to make her role debut as Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory. Currently going into the second year of her Masters in Opera Studies at The Juilliard School, Georgiana is a proud recipient of the Allen R. and Judy Brick Freedman Scholarship where she studies under the tutelage of Amy Burton. During the 2021-2022 season, Ms. Adams could be seen covering the role of Venere in Juilliard Opera’s production of Luigi Rossi’s L’Orfeo, performing in the Juilliard Liederabend Series coached by Kayo Iwama, and working with renowned opera director Mary Birnbaum in a variety of aria and scene workshops. Georgiana has made a splash not only in NYC, but in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois, where she was the winner of the 2020 AITBT Vocal Scholarship Competition hosted by Casa Italia and made role debuts in multiple productions with DePaul Opera Theater including; Lady Billows in Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring, the Dewfairy in Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Belezza in Cavalli’s L’Egisto, and the Countess Almaviva in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro.
