Jose Saavedra, section bass of the Amarillo Symphony, Texas, and Executive Director at the Bradetich Foundation in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the Master’s in Music at the University of North Texas, under the instruction of Prof. Jeff Bradetich, and is currently a second year doctorate student at this same institution. Originally from Costa Rica where he started his musical career, he has performed among the most important ensembles in that country such as Orquesta Sinfonica de Heredia and Costa Rica’s National Symphony. In Texas, he has performed with Richardson Symphony Orchestra, McKinney Philharmonic, and University of North Texas Symphony Orchestra. Jose is also Co-owner and Media Editing Manager at Off the Grid Music Studio in Denton, TX, and a heavy metal enthusiast.
