Justine Teo is a Singaporean violinist based in Chicago. She began her orchestral training at the Taipei Century Youth Orchestra, attended the School of the Arts, Singapore, and played with the Orchestra of Music Makers. She has spent her summers at the Chautauqua School of Music, Dartington International Summer School, Northwestern University Summer Violin Institute, and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. With the Chicago College of Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra, she has performed at venues including Symphony Center and The Harris Theater. A strong believer that music should be accessible to people from any walk of life, Justine performs regularly at hospitals around Chicago and serves on faculty at the Fortson Arts and Music Education Center in Chicago. She recently graduated with a Master of Music in Performance and Pedagogy under the tutelage of Almita Vamos at the Chicago College of Performing Arts.
