Nathan Coffman
Trumpet

Nathan Coffman is a versatile Knoxville-based trumpeter. Mr. Coffman’s performance experience includes appearances with the University of Tennessee Symphony, Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Philharmonic, and the Volunteer Brass Quintet. Mr. Coffman is also a recipient of the Presser Foundation’s Undergraduate Scholar Award. As an avid supporter of new and underrepresented music, Mr. Coffman has been involved in numerous premiers and commissions, including the North American premier of Emilie Mayer’s 4th Symphony and a recording project with the Volunteer Brass Quintet that featured works by underrepresented brass composers. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance at the University of Tennessee. His primary teachers include Dr. Arthur Zanin, Micah Wilkinson, Adam Gandolfo, and Dr. Stephen Carlson.
