Yuki Mori
Trombone

Yuki Mori is a trombonist from Ann Arbor, Michigan who is a first-year Masters student at Yale University studying with Scott Hartman. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has previously studied with David Jackson, Dennis Wilson, and Jonathan Holtfreter. Yuki recently served as the principal trombonist of the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, is the recipient of the Bossart Prize for winning the concerto competition at the University of Michigan, and has performed concertos with the Sewanee Summer Music Festival and the Detroit Youth Symphony Orchestras. As a chamber musician, his trombone quartet is a finalist in the International Trombone Festival Trombone Quartet Competition and is also part of an active brass quintet performing throughout the state of Michigan. During free time, Yuki enjoys watching baseball and hockey, learning a new language, and playing disc golf and euchre with friends.
