Whitney Campbell is a soprano from New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2022, she graduated with a M.M. in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied with soprano Rhoslyn Jones. She earned a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of soprano Marlene Rosen. Her roles at SFCM included Mother in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and Léontine in Joseph Bologne's L'amant anonyme. While at Oberlin, she was seen as Madame Lidoine in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, Mrs. Grose in The Turn of the Screw by Benjamin Britten, and Mrs. Gobineau in Menotti’s The Medium. She made her Chautauqua debut in 2019 as Helena in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is thrilled to be returning to sing the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni by Mozart with the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory!
