Candace (Candy) Littell Maxwell serves as Chair (elected in 2019) of the Chautauqua Board of Trustees, having previously served as a Trustee for eight years.  She is a retired health care industry executive with diverse experience in business strategy, leadership, governance, and policy.  She has been coming to Chautauqua every Summer Assembly Season since 2001.  Candy also serves ex officio as a Chautauqua Foundation Director and Vice Chair of the Chautauqua Hotel Corporation’s Board.  Married to Rev. Scott Maxwell, they live in Maryland.
