ChamberFest Cleveland

Since its founding in 2011 by Franklin Cohen, Principal Clarinet Emeritus of The Cleveland Orchestra, and his daughter Diana Cohen, Concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, ChamberFest Cleveland (CFC) has grown from a five-concert series to a multi-disciplinary, acclaimed three-week festival. Hailed by the Cleveland press as “the most important contribution to the region’s classical music scene,” ChamberFest provides a fresh concert experience in which the audience actively engages with the artists and their performances.  CFC is known for musical excellence, attracting an international roster of the finest classical musicians to Cleveland, innovative and adventurous programming, and the inclusion of exceptional young artists in its “Rising Stars” program. Nearly every concert has been broadcast to over 60,000 listeners on the radio and its Digital Performance Library of over 122 performances on YouTube has over 2000 subscribers. The artists on tonight’s concert just performed in CFC’s reunion festival, “Together Again!” which took place in Cleveland from June 9 to 26.
