Jed teaches Alexander Technique at CTC. He has been Head of Acting, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville / Clarence Brown Theatre Company (CBT) since 2005. In 2020 the UTK MFA Acting program was ranked #8 among the top-25 programs in the U.S., U.K., and Australia. As an actor Jed has appeared in roles at the CBT; Wheelhouse Theatre Co.; New York Shakespeare Festival; Roundabout Theatre; The Acting Company; Signature Theatre; Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.; etc. Prior to UT, he taught in New York City for 18 years. He was founding faculty of the Actors Center and the New York Shakespeare Festival Shakespeare Lab and taught in NYU Tisch School of the Arts; Stella Adler Studio; Playwright’s Horizons Theatre School; Fordham University, and other programs.
