Amit Taneja is the inaugural Senior Vice President and Chief Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Officer at Chautauqua Institution. He previously worked in college administration, most recently serving as the Associate Provost at the College of the Holy Cross.

As a trained intergroup dialogue facilitator, he has facilitated many different dialogues to bring people in conversation with one another with the goal of changing hearts and minds. He especially believes in the power of interfaith dialogue.

Amit and his husband Christopher recently bought a home in nearby Ashville.
