Evan Schuman is a violinist from Rochester, Minnesota. He is currently studying under Professor Aaron Berofsky as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater, and Dance. Evan has performed as a soloist for the South Eastern Minnesota Youth Orchestra after winning their concerto competition. He has also received 1st place at the Rochester Music Guild Competition. As an orchestral musician, Evan was concertmaster of the Big 9 Conference Select Orchestra and has played in the Minnesota All-State Orchestra from 2019-2021 and the NAfME All-National Orchestra in 2021.

Evan is the recipient of the Chautauqua Women's Club General Scholarship, the Pennybacker Memorial Scholarship, and The Carnahan-Jackson Scholarship Fund.
