Caroline Cornell is currently a senior at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, pursuing a violin performance degree, and studying with Professor Sibbi Bernhardsson. She began studying violin in Naples Florida, her hometown, at the age of three. Since then, she has participated in several orchestral and chamber music festivals including Brevard Music Festival, Encore Chamber Festival, Harpa International Music Academy in Reykjavik, Iceland, the Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar, and the Chautauqua Institution. Throughout her undergraduate degree, Cornell has performed twice at Carnegie Hall with the Oberlin Orchestra and looks forward to one more year of orchestra and chamber performances.
Caroline is the recipient of the NFMC-Ohio Federation Award.
