Anthony Voiers is a tenor who is preparing to enter his senior year in The University of Louisiana at Lafayette's vocal performance program. He is currently studying voice with Dr. Kelly Ann Bixby and Shawn Roy. Most recently, he performed the role of Rinuccio in the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra's production of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi in collaboration with UL Opera Theater. He has also been seen in recent productions at UL Lafayette, including Signor Deluso, where he portrayed Leon, and Urinetown, where he played Mr. Cladwell. Additionally, he was the featured tenor soloist in the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra's most recent performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony and was a finalist in The American Pops Orchestra's NextGen National Competition.
Anthony is the recipient of The Martha Marcks Mack Award.
