Anna Stein began playing the violin at age five; nine years later she switched to viola. Anna is now an undergraduate at Mercer University, where she studies with Rebecca Albers and Victoria Chiang at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings.

Anna is the recipient of the Chautauqua Women's Club General Scholarship, The Harriet B. and Ralph T. Geller Memorial Scholarship, and The Carnahan-Jackson Scholarship Fund.
