Irene Hyunyoung Shin, a Soprano from Seoul, Korea, graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Manhattan school of music. She is currently a student at Manhattan School of Music pursuing her Master of Music degree under Marlena Malas. She recently performed the role of Papagena in Die Zauberflöte at Manhattan School of Music and upcoming operatic roles Nella in Gianni Schicchi at Chatuaqua Conservatory.

Irene is the recipient of the Ms. Laura Miller Voice Scholarship.
