Jooahn Yoo is a rising junior that studies cello performance under Amir Eldan at the University of Michigan. He began taking lessons at twelve years old under Mira Kang and was a part of the the NJ All State Orchestra in high school. Last summer, he attended the Meadowmount School of Music in Westport, New York where he studied under Hans Jorgen Jensen.

Jooahn is the recipient of the Hebrew Congregation Music Award and The Falk Scholarship Fund.
