Sofia Puccio studied with Michael Reynolds at Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2023. Previously, she studied with Cornelia Watkins at the Shepherd School of Music Preparatory Program. She is a winner of the 2019 Boston University Bach Competition, and with the Juniper Quartet placed second in the 2019 Coltman Chamber Music Competition. In past summers, she has participated in Domaine Forget Summer Music Festival in Québec and the Garth Newel Music Festival in Virginia. She has taken masterclasses with Brinton Smith, Philippe Muller, and composer Gabriela Lena Frank.

Sofia is the recipient of the Chautauqua Women's Club General Scholarship, the Henry Rauch Memorial Scholarship, and The Carnahan-Jackson Scholarship Fund.
