Soprano Katie Malone is a recent graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where she received her Master of Music degree under the tutelage of Marlena Malas. There, she sang the roles of La Princesse (L'enfant et les sortilèges) and Oreste (La liberazione di Ruggiero dall’isola d’Alcina). She received her Bachelor of Music degree from The Catholic University of America, where she sang the roles of Laurie Moss (The Tender Land), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), and Miss Pinkerton (The Old Maid and the Thief). This is Katie’s second summer with the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory, and she is absolutely thrilled to be back!

Katie is the recipient of the Charles and Naomi Kaufman Voice Scholarship and the JoAnn and Gene Buffo Voice Scholarship.
