Anna Maria Vacca is a New York City based Mezzo Soprano currently pursuing her Masters Degree at Manhattan School of Music, she also completed her undergraduate degree with honors at MSM in Spring of 2022. Her previous credits include Jean in Le Portrait de Manon (MSM Graduate Opera Theatre 2022), Ljubicia in Svadba (MSM Graduate Opera Theatre 2023), Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte (MSM Opera Theatre 2022), and Lapak in The Cunning Little Vixen (Chautauqua Opera 2022). Her scene work includes Octavian from Der Rosenkavalier, Alisa from Lucia di Lammermoor, and Maddalena from Rigoletto. This summer she will be performing the role of L’Enfant in L’Enfant et les sortileges at Chautauqua Opera Conservatory on a full scholarship. She also holds the Orvis Annual Opera Scholarship for the 2022 - 2023 academic year at Manhattan School of Music. Anna Maria studies under the tutelage of Ms. Marlena Malas.

Anna Maria is the recipient of the Ralph E. Miller Memorial Scholarship for Music.
