Anna Holmes is a rising junior at the University of Michigan, where she studies with Professor Amir Eldan. As a high schooler, Anna studied with Joy Bedillion and served as principal cellist in the Louisiana Youth Orchestra in Baton Rouge. She has participated in summer festivals at the University of North Carolina, Indiana University, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and Texas Music Festival. Outside of music, Anna enjoys crafting, reading, and going for walks.

Anna is the recipient of the Jack I. and Barbara J. Morris Memorial Cello Scholarship, the Joseph W. and Marilyn Hyder Richey Scholarship Endowment, and The Reed Family Scholarship.
