Lutin Tanner hails from Mankato, Minnesota. He received a B.A. in Dance and Theater from Western Michigan University. He joined Garth Fagan Dance as a dancer from 1995-2000. Lutin then transitioned to Resident Lighting Designer and Production Manager for Dance New Amsterdam in NHYC. Using his unique dance lighting perspective, Lutin has worked with a wide range of artists from Arthur Aviles, Rasta Thomas’ Bad Boys of Dance, Nathan Trice, Theresa Duhon, Alex Beller, Ronald K. Brown/EVIDENCE, Nomad Contemporary Ballet, Malpaso Dance Company, Earl Mosley Diversity of Dance, Sweet Bird Productions, and Eglevsky Ballet, to name a few. Lutin is honored to return to Garth Fagan Dance as their Lighting Designer and Production Stage Manager. Thanks and love to his wife Adrienne, for her understanding of the late nights. Big UP!
