Maureen O’Connor Rovegno, Director for Religion, is completing her 17th Season with the Department of Religion officially, having previously served 13 years as a volunteer for the Department, during which time she also served for two terms on the Chautauqua Board of Trustees.  Holder of a Master of Divinity degree from the Divinity School of Harvard University, she is an Interdenominational-Interfaith Chaplain and Pastoral Counselor.  Maureen’s prior career was in teaching World Religions.  She resides at Chautauqua year-round with her husband Jim, and they are blessed to welcome their three children and spouses and six Grands to Chautauqua every Season.
