Yeongtaek Yang, a Baritone from Pohang, South Korea, graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Seoul National University in South Korea. He is currently a student at Manhattan School of Music pursuing his Master of Music degree under James Morris. He recently performed the role of Forester in The cunning little vixen at Manhattan School of Music and upcoming operatic roles Gianni Schicchi in Gianni Schicchi at Chatuaqua Conservatory. Yeongtaek was a first-prize winner of the 2022 Premier Opera Foundation International Vocal Competition.

Yeongtaek is the recipient of The Anna Mary and Richard M. Maddy Music Scholarship Fund.
