ChamberFest Cleveland

Since its founding in 2011 by Franklin Cohen, Principal Clarinet Emeritus of The Cleveland Orchestra, and his daughter Diana Cohen, Concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, ChamberFest Cleveland (CFC) has grown from a five-concert series to a multi-disciplinary, acclaimed three-week festival. Hailed by the Cleveland press as “the most important contribution to the region’s classical music scene,” ChamberFest provides a fresh concert experience in which the audience actively engages with the artists and their performances.

CFC is known for musical excellence, attracting an international roster of the finest classical musicians to Cleveland, innovative and adventurous programming, and the inclusion of exceptional young artists in its “Rising Stars” program. With radio broadcasts on WCLV 90.3 FM and selected performances on American Public Media's Performance Today, ChamberFest reaches local and national listeners throughout the year. CFC's Digital Archives on YouTube hosts full-length performance videos, with over 5.3K subscribers.
