Brandon Richardson holds a Bachelor’s degree in trumpet performance from Southern Methodist University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree from SMU. Richardson’s notable teachers include Ryan Anthony and Kevin Finamore, and he is currently studying with Stuart Stephenson. While at SMU, Richardson has performed with the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, the Meadows Wind Ensemble, the Meadows Opera, as well as multiple chamber groups. He has also performed with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and maintains a private teaching studio in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
In his free time, Richardson likes to spend time with close friends and family playing board games, watching movies, and playing ultimate frisbee.
