Mexican-American mezzo-soprano, Natalie Corrigan, is pursuing her final year of undergraduate at University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music studying under the tutelage of Amy Johnson. Upcoming performances include the Alto Soloist in Brahms’ Op 91 Zwei Gesänge with CCM Chamber Music and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with CCM’s Opera d’arte in 2024. Ms. Corrigan most recently performed L'Écureuil in L’Enfant et les sortilèges and La Badessa in Suor Angelica with the prestigious Chautauqua Opera Company & Conservatory (‘22-‘23). Previous Chautauqua 2022 season included covering Gertrude Stein and Anna Hope in Mother of Us All and the premiere reading of The House on Mango Street. Additional performances include Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Cupid (Orpheus in the Underworld), and Dritter Knabe (Die Zauberflöte). Award highlights include Classical Singer 2022 First Prize, Hal Leonard 2022 Second Prize, Dayton Opera College Vocal Competition 2023 Second Prize, 2023 Opera Grand Rapid’s Vanderlaan Prize Audience Choice Award, and 2022 SAS Performing Arts Vocal Competition Finalist.
