Hila Dahari is a 22 year old violinist who has attended multiple prestigious music festivals such as the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, Aspen Music Festival, Curtis Summerfest, the Meadowmount School of Music, Encore Chamber Music Academy at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Madeline Island Chamber Music, and the Sarasota Music Festival. Hila was chosen to participate in the Chicago Philharmonic Spotlight Program, and has received multiple honorable mentions from competitions, such as the Walgreen National Concerto Competition, Depaul Concerto Competition, and the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. Hila Dahari also served as the concertmaster of the Chicago Youth Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Along with these awards and festivals she has attended, Hila has played in masterclasses led by Margaret Batjer, David Halen, Jupiter String Quartet, Jacques Israelievitch, Andres Cardenes and Mathias Tacke. Hila Dahari is also very involved in her community, and plays in senior living homes when she can. Hila Dahari currently graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with a bachelor degree, and will pursue her master’s degree at the Jacobs School of Music in the fall.
