Originally from Scarborough, Maine, Alex Lehmann is pursuing a degree in Flute Performance at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. He is a student of Bonita Boyd, Anne Harrow and has previously studied with Ona Jonaityte. He has attended the National Symphony Summer Music Institute, Sewanee Summer Music Festival, and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. At Eastman, Alex regularly performs in the Eastman Philharmonia and Eastman Wind Ensemble and was selected as a member of the Eastman Harmonie, a chamber subset of the Wind Ensemble. He is also an active member of the Empire Film and Media Ensemble, playing feature films and student film collaborations.
