Alessandra Liebmann has been playing horn since the age of 8 and recently graduated from Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music. She has appeared with several orchestras and festivals across the country, including the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, New World Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Sarasota Music Festival, and Music Academy of the West. In addition to music, Alessandra also studied Sociology during her undergraduate degree, and is interested in exploring the intersection of the arts and society. In her free time, Alessandra enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and being outdoors. Alessandra is a student of Gail Williams and Jon Boen. Next year, she will continue her musical studies at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music.
