Ferran Martinez is a Tuba player pursuing his Artist Diploma Studies at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where he studies with Pears Norman. He has been finalist in major auditions, including The New York City Ballet and the Seattle Symphony. He has performed with the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera House, Alla Scala Teatro di Milano among others world-class Opera, Ballet, Symphony orchestras. In 2017 he was a Tuba fellow at The Music Academy of the West, where he made is solo orchestra debut with the John Williams Tuba Concerto. Previously, Mr. Martinez studied with Alan Baer at The New School Mannes School of Music in New York City.
