Will Duty first joined the Chautauqua Theater Company 18 years ago as a carpenter in the scene shop. Will worked in the shop for three seasons on such productions as The Cherry Orchard, The Art of Coarse Acting, Twelfth Night, Ah, Wilderness!, The Just, Much Ado About Nothing, Death of a Salesman, Reckless, Every Good Boy Deserves Favor, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After 15 years away, Will returned last season to CTC in the role of Production Manager where he heroically assembled a team to bring Kate Hamill’s Pride and Prejudice to life.  Will has once again come back to CTC for the 2024 season to aid in creating the most beautiful theatre you will be able to see in Western New York. 

When Will is not at Chautauqua, he is the Production Manager for Primary Stages, a wonderful Off-Broadway company in New York City, where Will lives full-time. Will is also an avid movie goer. On Tuesday nights throughout the year, you can find him at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, New York for Terror Tuesday.
