Jeremy York is an accomplished string player of four bands with varying styles from country to heavy metal. He has released seven albums to date and has plans of a rock opera multimedia show this decade. He has been playing with Close to You for four years.  

Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, a deep love of music was instilled in him from a young age. Nearly every family member played an instrument, in a possible Partridge Family band callback.  This led to the inevitable, starting and playing in bands whenever he could. He has found a home here in Close to You, playing the music of the Carpenters much to the delight of his grandmother, joining us in our journey to bring the music of Karen and Richard Carpenter to life.
