Lily LaSalle is from Chicago, Illinois. She received her formative training in ballet and contemporary from Ruth Page School of Dance. She then went on to receive a BFA in Ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After completing her degree in 3 years, she was offered a company contract with American Contemporary Ballet in Los Angeles, California. There she performed many works by George Balanchine and Lincoln Jones.
