A native of Columbus, Indiana, KC received her early training through competitive gymnastics and a local dance studio – beginning her Chicago career in 2013 as a freelance artist, she trained with Inaside Chicago Dance, a nationally touring hip hop cover band and Dance Crash. She’s had the opportunity to train, perform and create with some of the nation’s incredible artists and choreographers such as James Gregg, Christopher James Ayala of Phaze ll, Ben Wardell, Annie Franklin, Walter Maybell, Monyett Crump, Jackie Nowicki and Katlin Michael Bourgeois among others. Ms. Bevis joined Crash as the 2014 performing apprentice, was promoted to the full company in 2015 and promoted to rehearsal director in 2018 where she currently resets works, choreographs, performs and manages talent. KC currently trains in concert dance styles as well as street dance including breaking, hip hop, contemporary, floorwok, acrobatics, and more.
