Michelle Stone began dancing at the Dance Connection in Grayslake, IL from 3 years old to about 11 years old. At which point she had to choose between her two favorite passions horseback riding and dance. With the new addition to her family, her horse Matching Luck, she chose horseback riding. While attending Grayslake Central High School she had the opportunity to take Dance I and Dance II as her gym requirement. Her last two years of High School her Dance II gym class had the chance to perform in the High School Orchesis Dance Show, which inspired her to continue dancing when she started attending the College of Lake County. She has been performing at the college for 8 years, where she had met and danced for Lamaiya Lancaster. Lamaiya invited Michelle in 2015 to perform and be a part of L-Theory Collective. Since training and performing with L-Theory Collective, she has traveled to Chicago, Charlotte, North Carolina and El Paso, Texas for various performances and dance festivals.
