Angelina Rivera
Bailadora, La Catrina understudy

Angelina Rivera is currently a Psych major at CSULA and a dance instructor at Thee Academy. For the past 5 years she has performed with Ballet Folklorico De Los Angeles. It all started at the age of four, since then dance is something that has always been a part of her life.

Over her dancing career Angelina has explored many different genres of dance such as modern, hip hop, bachata and folklorico. Angelina is most excited to be a part of HLM because the cast is so committed and passionate about the meaning behind this show. While it means something different to all of us, it also connects us to each other, to our culture, and most importantly to our families and ancestors.

Shout out to my parents who have pushed me to do amazing things (this is definitely one of them), I love you. During this season of Día de Los Muertos, I will be dedicating my performance in HLM to my beautiful baby niece in heaven, Savannah Garcia.
