Effie Rolfe, the Voice of Inspiration, has endured a stellar career as a radio personality for over 30 years in Chicago with various radio stations including 107.5 WGCI FM; V103/102.7 FM and 139 AM. She has also held several positions including the #1 Nielsen rated Sunday morning show in Chicago for over a decade, as well as Assistant Program Director and Music Director. Effie served as a Weekly Entertainment Columnist with The Chicago Defender Newspaper, The Chicago Crusader and The Gary Crusader Newspapers. In 2014 she created and wrote a weekly blog entitled, "Giving You the Gospel" for JetMag.com.

The Arkansas native has received numerous awards including The Secretary of State's Office (Jesse White) Honoring African American Women in Media (2011); Chicago Urban League of Women; The Kizzie Award as well as Rainbow Push Coalition Media Mogul (2011); Gospel Trailblazer (2006) and Community Service Awards (2018). Rolfe continues to work as a media consultant and speaker as well as Program Director and Operations Manager for Moody Radio's Urban Praise.
