Arthur W. Marks made his professional debut in 1992 with the Kansas City Symphony under Music Director, William “Bill” McGlaughlin. Marks has since performed as a soloist and guest vocalist with the Baltimore Symphony, Des Moines Symphony, Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Vivaldi Travelling Virutoso Orchestra (NYC), Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Marks has performed on stages/classical venues in Rome, London, Berlin, Leipzig Germany, Paris and Vienna. Marks not only performs in the classical genre, but is often seen on musical theatre venues/stages across the US and abroad.
Marks received his BA/BS Degrees (Music, Psychology, and Social Work) from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. Earned Master’s Degree in Music Therapy from The University of Missouri at Kansas City. Currently, Marks is the Managing Director for THE ALTERNATIVE CENTER, a Day Program that works with Adults with Developmental Disabilities. Marks is very pleased and proud to be a part of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Chorus family.
