Matthew Brennan
baritone

Matthew Brennan, baritone, is excited to be a part of Chicago a cappella this season! He is an active performer who feels at home in both contemporary and early music styles, and he sings regularly with various ensembles in and around Chicago including Constellation Men’s Ensemble, the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Music of the Baroque, Bella Voce, and the Lakeside Singers. Some of his favorite solo roles include Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro and Curly in Oklahoma.  Also a committed educator, Matthew teaches voice at several Chicago Public Schools through the organization ArtSmart. He holds degrees from the Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
