Katelyn Lee

Recognized by Chicago Classical Review as having a “beautifully bright and silvery tone,” soprano Katelyn Lee is thrilled to be singing with Chicago a cappella. Katelyn has performed opera and musical theatre roles with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Haymarket Opera Company, and Chicago Opera Theater. Notable roles include Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Romilda in Serse, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Doris Parker in Charlie Parker’s Yardbird, Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Cunegonde in Candide, Madame Goldentrill in The Impresario, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, and the Female Narrator in the world premiere of Jason and the Argonauts. She has performed concert repertoire with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Music of the Baroque, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. Katelyn maintains a private voice studio and teaches with the Music of the Baroque “Strong Voices” program, the Cantabile School, and Music Institute of Chicago.
