Multimedia Designer

Jasmine A. Golphin is a visual artist and is currently the Associate Artistic Director at Maelstrom Collaborative Arts, an interdisciplinary and intersectional arts venue. Jasmine has managed several film education and community outreach programs for organizations such as MyCom, Neighborhood Leadership Institute, Cleveland nternational Film Festival, and SPACES gallery. In 2022 Jasmine became Dobama Theatre’s first participant in the FOCUS Program for theatrical projection design. Her artistry includes photography, filmmaking, live performance, virtual reality and projection design. Her 2022 VR experience FACEBOOKLAND was supported by SPACES’ The Satellite Fund and funded by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regional Regranting Program. Her short film and installation “Welcome to the Panopticon!” premiered  May 2024 and was supported by Cleveland Camera Rental’s Rental Credit Grant, and The Foundation for Contemporary Arts’ Emergency Grant.
