Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Stephanie Samuels's lifelong dream was to sing professionally. At the tender age of six, she began singing in church choirs and has been doing so for over 30+ years, where she consistently led powerful and uplifting gospel songs, lifting the souls of hundreds of members, Sunday after Sunday. She found her way to the stage during her high school career, being featured in The Wiz (Aunt Em), Carmen Jones (Frankie), and The Hot Mikado (Katisha). After years of hiatus, she has recently returned to her love of theater and performance, a journey that inspires us all. She has been seen on the Near West Theatre stage in BKLYN (Ensemble) and, most recently, as Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors! Stephanie is excited to start a new journey towards her next adventure in life - owning a bakery! Enjoy the show!
