is excited to be a part of Schoolhouse Rock Live! at Childsplay Theatre. Ūgene is a trans non-binary Atlanta-based actor and social media influencer who got their start acting in the Grand Rapids, Michigan community theater scene. Ūgene engages in several forms of media and entertainment including TikTok (@skinqueer), twitch (@witchking5000), script writing and analysis, fashion, beauty and many others. Ūgene is able to take up space in the theater community because of the struggles of the many Black trans people before them who had the talent to create art, but not the access, opportunity, or privilege. It is because of the those Black trans folk Ūgene can walk thru doors they were not able or allowed to. It is on shoulders of Black trans people Ūgene stands, and they are with Ūgene always.
