As Executive Vice President, Warner Bros.Theatre Ventures, Kaufman is currently represented on Broadway with the eight-time Tony Award-nominated hit musical Beetlejuice, based on Tim Burton’s cult movie classic. Kaufman has also produced the West End, Broadway, first national tour, and Australian production of the Olivier Award-winning musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the Broadway stage adaptation of Stephen King’s Misery starring Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf, as well as the Tony Award-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Recent and upcoming projects include Dave (Arena Stage), 17 Again (NAMT), Dog Day Afternoon and A Star is Born. Before joining WBThV, Kaufman oversaw the Broadway productions of Hairspray, The Wedding Singer, and Elf the Musical for New Line Cinema. Kaufman executive produced the New Line films Secondhand Lions, Hairspray, Four Christmases, 17 Again, and My Sister’s Keeper, and co-produced Valentine’s Day.
