XI. Musicians

They're sneaky and slimy, and they've got lots of scales,

They're creaking and grimy, and they've got long black tails.

They drill and they study, they get in a groove,

Till their fingers are bloody – you'd think they'd improve!

But "practice makes perfect," and that's their true mission,

We'll now hear from the insect known as a "musician."
