Patrick Reynolds

Patrick Reynolds, the conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, is the Associate Conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. He has appeared as guest conductor of the Annapolis (MD) Symphony Orchestra, the Arlington (VA) Symphony Orchestra, the High Mountain Symphony (NJ), and the Queens (NY) Symphony Orchestra. He has also conducted the Ohio Music Education Association East Central and Southwest Regional Honors Orchestras, and the Starling Chamber Orchestra at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Conducting nearly two-dozen performances with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra each year, Reynolds leads the DPO in “Magic Carpet” and “Young Peoples” concerts. He has also appeared as conductor of the Philharmonic in Classical and SuperPops series, and on Holiday Pops and summer season concerts. In addition, he serves as conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Concert Band, a professional wind ensemble performing education and summer concerts.

Reynolds is on the faculty at the University of Dayton where he is an Associate Professor of Music. He earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Michigan School of Music.
